Document: How Adoke signed agreement with Dubai Police to resolve his Nigeria Corruption Case
Facts have emerged on how former Attorney General of the Federation , Bello Adoke signed agreement with Dubai Police Headquarters to resolve the corruption allegation against him. [see document below]
Adoke who had already been Interpol Custody arrived Nigeria on Friday.
He was fingered in the Malabu Oil sleaze.
Adoke was immediately arrested upon arrival and questioned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in connection to the missing £22.5m (N6.18billion) loot of the Sani Abacha which was recovered from the Island of Jersey.
However, document obtained by our correspondent revealed that Adoke on November 11, 2019 signed an agreement with Dubai Police to come to Nigeria and defend himself.
Adoke in the document said,” I will go to Nigeria to solve my problem and that without pressure from Police or anyone.”
On 17 April 2019, a Nigerian High Court in Abuja issued arrest warrant for Adoke and four others for failing to appear for trial in connection with Malabu Oil deal.
