Kogi kid executed over cashew nuts


A kid, distinguished just as Yahaya, has been assaulted and executed by obscure people on a homestead in the Anyigba region of Kogi State.

As indicated by occupants, the killing happened on Wednesday, while Yahaya, said to be a young person, went to pick cashew nuts from his dad's ranch. They claimed that the aggressors assaulted and slaughtered Yahaya so as to escape with the cashew nuts.
It was learnt that the matter was accounted for at the Anyigba police division and police agents activated to the scene to clear the remaining parts of the kid.

A neighbor, distinguished just as Ibrahim, who shared the photos on a web-based social networking, said no one knew Yahaya's executioners. He included that the attackers slaughtered Yahaya as a result of the cashew nuts he had gone to single out his dad's homestead.

He stated, "This young man was killed today (Wednesday) in the homestead due to cashew nuts. May God rest his spirit in peace."

Our journalist learnt that the police had started examinations to disentangle Yahaya's executioners.

The Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer, William Aya, couldn't be gone after remark on the occurrence as of press time, as his phone lines did not interface.
