Truck pulverizes mother, youngster, others in Ibadan

 

A unidentified lady and her kid were killed when a driver lost control of a verbalized vehicle at the bustling Oja Oba showcase in Ibadan on Tuesday.

The mischance happened around 8am as brokers at the mainstream market were opening shops while numerous others were holding up along the Oja Oba/Molete street to board vehicles on their approach to work.
Observers said four different people were murdered in the mischance, with a few others were fundamentally harmed.

The majority of the influenced people were administrators of business tricycles that changed over piece of the market street to their carport, and additionally some of their travelers.

Around four of the tricycles were mutilated by the effect of the crash with one of them seriously consumed by resulting fire.

One of those slaughtered was a designer with the Ibadan Properties, Mr. Monsur Ajedayo, who was made up for lost time in the calamity as he sat tight for a taxi close to the street.

His body and that of other people who kicked the bucket in the mischance were said to have been stored at the Adeoyo State Hospital mortuary while the harmed people are getting treatment at the clinic and the University College Hospital, Ibadan.

Affirming the mishap, the Police Public Relations Officer, Oyo State Police Command, Adekunle Ajisebutu, in any case, said three people were slaughtered in the mischance while four were harmed.

"I can affirm that there was a mishap in Oja Oba region of Ibadan that killed three people. Four people were harmed moreover. One of them is getting treatment at the UCH while the rest were taken to Adeoyo State Hospital," he said.
