Lassana Diarra requests €6m from FIFA

Lassana Diarra

French global Lassana Diarra, requested to pay a €10m-fine to previous club Lokomotiv Moscow, has thusly requested millions in remuneration from FIFA and the Belgian football alliance, Belgian media gave an account of Friday.

The 31-year-old showed up under the steady gaze of a Belgian court alongside his attorneys on Thursday and requested €6m ($6.7m) be paid by FIFA and the Belgian organization over the Marseille midfielder's fizzled move to Charleroi in 2015.
While out of agreement in mid 2015, Diarra had marked a letter submitting himself to complete the season with Belgian top-flight side Charleroi.

Be that as it may, the arrangement relied on the condition whereby the Belgian club would not confront sanctions by marking Diarra, who was then in debate with Lokomotiv Moscow.

Diarra had unexpectedly left the Russian club in 2014 in the wake of marking a four-year contract in 2013, for the most part on account of a compensation cut.

Lokomotiv conveyed the case to FIFA and the world body forced a fine of €10m which was maintained by the Court of Arbitration for Sport last May.

Therefore Charleroi at last chose not to finish the Diarra marking.

The French player trusts he was the wronged party and has chosen to make lawful move.

The decision will be conveyed in the coming months.
